General Note To All Affiliated With The Maumee Valley Pullers
  
It’s been brought to our attention that a group of pullers has/or is in the process of forming another point’s circuit.
   The reasons for this action are not totally clear to those of us at MVP. Nonetheless, whatever the reason(s), Maumee Valley Pullers wants to let all area pullers to know the mitigating circumstances that might have caused this action.
   Our point’s circuit was discontinued when our point’s secretary resigned (for personal reasons) just prior to the 2008 season. A diligent attempt to replace her failed. Without the services of a point’s secretary, it made it nearly impossible to maintain a circuit that was heavily laden with paperwork and time requirements. This is the only reason for the cancellation of the circuit; nothing more, nothing less.
   Contrary to any rumors, our club will continue to provide pulls locally and our sled is still being contracted for various pulls throughout the area. Our club is financially strong and will remain active in the pulling industry. We will promote five (5) pulls locally, including the NATPA Winter Nationals. Our first truck and tractor pull was a complete success, nearly doubling previous year’s attendance and participation.
   In conclusion, Maumee Valley Pullers is still a progressive, active club intent on maintaining the sport of truck and tractor pulling. We have been involved in the sport since 1992 and will continue to for years to come. We wish the best to all pullers, no matter their affiliation and we welcome all pullers at any Maumee Valley Pullers event.
